Slide The City Registration!
I'm sure you've all seen it on Facebook before, but finally after months of all your friends reposting and sharing the Richmond.com article , registration for the giant waterslide event "Slide the City" has opened!
On June 18th, East Byrd Street of downtown Richmond will turn into a giant water slide. Hello, Summer!
All riders are required to slide on an inflatable tube. The early registration period is over, but regular registration is still happening for another 25 days. Not including an inner tube, tickets start at $13, Three rides including a tube for $25, and unlimited rides plus a tube for $45. Get your tickets as early as possible because prices go up as the event draws near!
