4th Annual RVA Brew-B-Q

If you’re looking for something fun to do this weekend, Downtown Richmond’s 17th Street Farmer’s Market is host to the 4th Annual RVA Brew-B-Q!
As I’m sure everyone knows by now, Richmond’s craft beer scene is growing to immense popularity.  This festival will bring the best of our craft breweries together along with Virginia’s best Barbecue producers.  Enjoy live music and an expanded Farmer’s Market featuring fresh produce and hand-made goods for sale!

The festival will be held from 12— 5 pm and admission is free with food and beer available for purchase.  Proceeds will go to Enrichmond, a foundation that serves Richmond’s people, parks and public spaces.  See you there!

Light the Night Walk for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

Hello, Dear Friends!

As you know, awareness for Leukemia and Lymphoma is a cause I hold dear to my heart being a cancer survivor myself.  I've been raising money for the Light the Night Walk for a few years now, earning awards for my efforts, having raised over 50K!  While earning recognition is not at all my goal, it is motivating to know that my efforts are not only proof of my family and friend's support but of the community's as well and how many lives this disease affects.

Right now, I am almost at my fundraising goal! I set the bar high for myself this year at $12,000 and I'm determined to make it.  Help me reach my goal and donate to Miles for Missy!

To learn more about me and my goals or to donate please visit Miles for Missy!

This year Light the Night will be held on Saturday, October 17 at the Virginia Historical Society at 5:00 pm.

There are so many other's out there raising money for this cause, it doesn't matter who you donate to, let's keep up the good work!
